Christopher Suprun, a Republican elector in Dallas, cannot in good conscience cast his vote for Donald Trump. One down, 538 to go.
In a scathing op-ed in Tuesday's New York Times, Suprun lays out the reasoning for his unusual decision. He writes that he has been asked to change his vote in the past because of policy disagreements or the fact that someone won the Electoral College but not the popular vote, but he has never done so. His reason for opposing Trump is that he "shows daily he is not qualified for the office." Read full story here
