Clinton's popular vote lead over Trump breaks 2.3 million
Ballot counting continues and new figures released by The Associated Press on Wednesday show that Democratic nominee has surpassed President-elect in the popular vote by more than 2.3 million.
The numbers reported Wednesday place Clinton at 64,874,143 to Trump's 62,516,883, for a total difference of 2,357,260. In percentages, Clinton has won 48.1 percent of the popular vote, and Trump has 46.4 percent of the vote.
