Democratic congressional candidate Kim Myers on Wednesday released three TV ads that serve to introduce her candidacy to the 22nd congressional district.
The ads, titled “Day”, “Being There” and “Getting Results” tout Myers’s charity work, her business background and her upstate New York roots.
The ads will be airing in the Syracuse, Utica and Binghamton TV markets on both cable and broadcast television.
“When Kim Myers starts her day, you know something’s going to get done and get better,” the ad’s narrator says in “Being There.”
“Maybe it’s the Child Hunger Task Force, or Rotary, or the school board. Myers is a mother of six, the kind of job you have to show up for every day. Whether it’s soccer practice, an encouraging word, or a shoulder to cry on. Being there. Showing up. Getting results.”
Myers is running for the congressional district being vacated by Republican Rep. Richard Hanna. She faces Republican Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney and independent candidate Martin Babinec.
