See who's on the general election ballot in Oswego County

OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Oswego County voters will elect a district attorney, county legislators, a new mayor in Oswego and town officials in the Nov. 3 general election.

District Attorney Gregory Oakes, a Republican, is running for re-election against Democrat Michael McAndrew in the biggest race in the county.

Only 11 of the 25 races for Oswego County Legislature seats are contested this year.

In Oswego, Mayor Thomas Gillen is not running for re-election. Democrat Amy Tresidder, a county legislator, and Republican William Barlow, a city councilor, are campaigning for the job.

Fulton Mayor Ronald Woodward is running unopposed for another term.

Polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. To be eligible to vote, you have to register by Oct. 9. People who became honorably discharged veterans or naturalized citizens after Oct. 9 have until Oct. 24 to register.
